Good Friday Procession
On Holy Week, the Sorsogon City’s main streets are transformed into a sea of bodies as barefoot devotees join the two-hour Good Friday procession that wends through the city streets in a display of piety and reverence. The procession is also the occasion for taking out more than 40 santos, some of which have been in the families for generations. Pasyon During Lenten Season, the “Pasyon” is being practiced all over the locality. Both young and old sing the “Passion of our dear Lord” in Spanish Language. |
