Museums give life to the history of the province of Cavite. These are very important to people who are precisely interested of a particular subject. These popular spots can really captivate the human senses through displaying of photos, old books, documents and remarkable figures of the past.

AGUINALDO SHRINE Kawit, Cavite
The Aguinaldo Shrine is a national shrine of the Republic of the Philippines, located in Kawit, Cavite. The Philippine flag is raised here by top national officials every June 12 to commemorate Araw ng Kalayaan or Independence Day. The shrine is the ancestral home of Emilio Aguinaldo, the first president of the First Republic of the Philippines, and it was here that Philippine independence from Spain was proclaimed from a window of the home on June 12, 1898. The proclamation of Philippine Independence was read, though this was subsequently replaced by another declaration written and signed in Malolos, Bulacan).

GERONIMO BERENGUER de los REYES JR. FOUNDATION MUSEUM and FINE ARTS COLLECTION Gateway, Business Park, Gen. Trias, Cavite
The Geronimo Berenguer de los Reyes Jr. Foundation's museum and fine arts collection is dedicated to the preservation and display of the finest examples of Philippine related rare books, maps, prints and historical documents. The Foundation has placed special emphasis on the conservation and reproduction for preservation of 19th and early 20tth century photographs of the Philippines. The foundation's goal is to preserve and make this accessible for future generations. Also on display, is Mr. De los Re GBR Museum is proud to house in two pavilions the personal collection of Mr. Geronimo B. De Los Reyes, Jr. which covers a wide array of paintings and model aircrafts he acquired over the years - from the Wright Brothers' first prototype to the contemporary space shuttle by NASA. This offers a unique and captivating presentation of aviation history. There are over 100 scale models of aircraft on display. They range from and commercial airliners to space shuttles and rockets. These accurately manufactured models were handcarved from mahogany wood and were masterfully painted by Filipino artisans from the province of Pampanga in Central Luzon. Each plane comes with its unique colors and markings carefully assigned by each country's military airforce or commercial company.
