In Water

* Snorkeling
Snorkeling is the practice of swimming at the surface of a body of water while equipped with a diving mask, a shaped tube called a snorkel, and usually swimfins. In cooler waters, a wetsuit may also be worn.

* Swimming

* Water Polo
Water polo, a team water sport, which can be best described as a combination of swimming and handball. A team consists of six field players and one goalkeeper. The objective of the game resembles that of football (soccer): to score as many goals as possible, each goal being worth one point.

On water

* Bodyboarding
Bodyboarding is a form of wave riding using a bodyboard, which consists of a small roughly rectangular piece of foam, shaped to a hydrodynamic form. The bodyboard is predominantly ridden lying down ('prone'). It can also be ridden in a half-standing stance with one knee touching the board known as 'dropknee'.

* Waterskiing
Water skiing began in 1922 when Ralph Samuelson strapped two boards to his feet and rigged a clothesline up to his boat on Lake Pepin in Lake City, Minnesota. The sport remained a little-known activity, with Samuelson as its daredevil pioneer for several years. Samuelson began taking his "stunts" on the road, performing shows from Detroit to Florida.

* Windsurfing
Windsurfing is a surface water sport using a windsurf board, also commonly called a sailboard, usually two to five meters long and powered by a single sail. The rig is connected to the board by a free-rotating flexible joint called the Universal Joint (U-Joint).

Sailing and Paddling

* Dragon Boat Racing
A Dragon boat is a very long and narrow human powered boat used in the team paddling sport or Dragon boat racing which originated in China.

For racing events, dragon boats are always rigged with decorative Chinese dragon heads and tails and are required to carry a large drum aboard. At other times the decorative regalia is usually removed, although the drum often remains aboard for training purposes.

* Hobie Racing
The ISAF International Class Hobie 16 (H16) is a popular catamaran manufactured by the Hobie cat Company for racing and day sailing. The craft was the driving force behind the popularization of beach cats and was recently inducted into the Sailing Hall Of Fame

* Outrigger Paraw Racing

* Rafting

* Rowing
Rowing is a sport in which athletes race against each other on river, lakes or on the ocean, depending upon the type of race & the discipline. The boats are propelled by the reaction forces on the oar blades as they are pushed against the water. The sport can be both recreational, focusing on learning the techniques required, and competitive where overall fitness plays a large role, it is also an Olympic sport.

* Whitewater Kayaking

Underwater

* Underwater Hockey
* Scuba Diving
Scuba diving is swimming underwater while using self-contained breathing equipment.

By carrying a source of compressed air, the scuba diver is able to stay underwater longer than with the simple breath-holding techniques used in Snorkeling and Free-diving, and is not hindered by air-lines to a remote air source. The scuba diver typically swims underwater by using fins attached to the feet. However, some divers also move around with the assistance of a DPV (Diver Propulsion Vehicle), commonly referred to as a "scooter", or by using surface-tethered devices called sleds, which are pulled by a boat.
